Upgrading to the latest version

You can upgrade to the latest version of Service Desk from V2018.3 or later by applying the latest update file and then upgrading your database.

You can get the latest update from the Ivanti Community. The file version number for the latest version starts with 12.2.

To upgrade to the latest version:

  1. If you are not running V2018.3, upgrade to this version.

    2. For information, see Upgrading to Service Desk or Asset Manager V2018.3.

  2. Back up your database, and make sure all users are logged out.
  3. Get the latest update installer from the Ivanti Community, and run it on each of your servers.
  4. On the Welcome dialog of the update installer, click Update.
  5. The update installs.
  6. Using the Configuration Center, run the Upgrade against your database.
